life seen thru the eyes of a neurotic 20 something gal in search of something, nothing, and everything....but not all at once...I think.

smiling from ear to ear

This morning I returned from my long weekend in Georgia. Have I told you how much I LOVE Georgia? Well, I do. I would move in a heartbeat if I could. The weather, the people, are all so damned fantastic. Hot southern men comb the streets looking so attractive and modelesque. MMMMM...wonderful. Anyhow, I have enjoyed the weekend and am happy to say I am ready to visit the family in San Antonio. Work still goes as can be expected. The world is wonderful and I am super excited I will be going to see the Shib soon!!!!!!! Bonding with the girls is one of my favorite things and since I only have a handful of true gals to share this special time with, I get all girly and bubbly. The good ol' Texas gals will be out and about stirring trouble soon and I can't wait:)

Happy surprise

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind to say the very least. So far, I had a chance to see my best friend from college and get some outrageous feelings I didn't know were there(and yes, it's a man...get your mind outta the gutta!). I worked hard towards getting a new division for my store only to be promoted to another. I got a FAT raise and a big headache. I also realized another thing....my employees were sad to see me go and I genuinely won their respect. Everything is still not right in my world but I tell you what...it certainly made the struggles of the past few months and the last two weeks all worth it. Thanks to all my staff who made my stay a fun job I was always happy to get up and go to. You make my world:)

A massage is the answer

After my crappy episode today, I decided I needed some pampering and went to get a manicure and a much needed massage. Somewhere between the lotion and oil I went stupid and fell asleep. It was wonderful. No restless turning or noise. Pure peace and utter bliss. Can't the rest of my life be that simple?
